In early February, Stablfy took the stage at the Future of Racing Summit in London—a high-stakes event hosted by the BHA and Flutter Entertainment to revitalize British Horseracing.
Out of 100+ global applicants, Stablfy was one of only 10 companies selected to pitch. More importantly, we were the only firm to present two distinct products, addressing the industry’s most critical challenges: equine safety and fan engagement.
Leveraging the latest in artificial intelligence, our Equine Welfare product analyzes horse movement in real-time. By detecting subtle gait abnormalities early, the tech allows trainers to intervene before minor issues become major injuries, setting a new standard for horse care.
To tackle the decline in attendance, we showcased a custom-built Race Day UK app for the BHA. This “concierge in your pocket” is designed to help new racegoers navigate the track, understand the terminology, and truly “Enjoy a day at the races.”
The summit focused on “Project Beacon” data, which highlighted that welfare and “complexity” are the biggest barriers for the 18–28 demographic. By tackling both through our tech stack, Stablfy is helping secure the long-term sustainability of the sport.
“The Future of Racing Summit demonstrated the range of technologies that exist which have the potential to grow our sport.” — David Jones, Senior Independent Director of the BHA
